 What is this?
UV radiation has been found to be a Cancer causing agent. Apart from sunlight, UV exposure can also take place in environments where UV radiation is used for professional purposes.
Some of the harmful effects of acute and cumulative exposure to UV radiation of the sun are skin cancer, premature aging, suppression of the immune system and Sunburns.
Clothing fabrics have long been considered as effective protection against short term and long term Sun exposure. UV absorbing fabrics work as a barrier to UV radiation, thereby protecting the wearer from related harm.
A unique property of UV absorbing fabrics is that they also enhance the look of the garment, as color fading due to UV radiation does not take place.
